The Antitrust Division may sue for damages suffered by the State and its executive agencies, as a class representative on behalf of all political subdivisions, and as parens patriae for damages to individual consumers. This series consists of school asbestos survey files collected by the Antitrust Division in compliance with regulations of the Environmental Protection Agency to determine which school buildings contained friable asbestos and therefore were eligible to be included in antitrust lawsuits against manufacturers. Information available in this series includes: name and address of school; the name of the building where friable materials were located; the year of construction/renovation; description of material; analysis reports; exposure factor; and certification by a responsible official. Surveys cover the period from 1982 to 1983 and case files and related documents from 1979 to 1983.
